The Journeyman series focuses on natural scenes, using abstract and expressionistic techniques to set an emotional tone, to invite the viewer to impose meaning on a naturally chaotic pattern, and/or to reference social issues.
The series also records a growing practice of using found objects which occur in the artist’s local environment, a practice which is being further explored with the Altered States series (currently in progress).
